I picked up my first DSLR in 2011. It was a Nikon d3000. I was mesmerized by bokeh and how you can lead a viewers attention within a picture. I would take annual road trips across the country to various national parks with friends, and I naturally became the "photographer" of the group. I loved every minute of it. I love nostalgia. I love the ability to capture the essence of fleeting moments.
